Response to Lisa's Blog
When my friends and I talk about the future, it's pretty funny what topics come up; everything from college, to ideal boyfriends/husbands, to jobs, to marriage life, to kids, to arranging our kids' marriages...we can go on forever.
As for me, I'm not too worried about my future.
I just hope I'll get into college, become a pharmacist, go back to school to major in English and creative writing, maybe even education, and hopefully get married in the middle of that. If I had it my way, I would get married mid-twenties, but who knows when the right guy will come?
As for the guy, I don't think I'm being tooooo picky. I'm pretty open with age; preferably I hope the age gap is at max 5. When I'm older, I don't think I would mind younger guys. As for race, my parents prefer Korean (and maybe Chinese ahaha), but who knows who I'll end up with in the end? Since I'm pretty short, finding a taller guy won't be too difficult. As for looks, I ask that he has decent features. I think I can be shallow as to how the guy dresses though ><;; Not that I look at brands or whatever, but how the guy puts himself together to look presentable. Oh, and I also noticed from the guys that I've liked before, that I like guys who wear glasses ahaha!
But the most important parts are probably him being Christian, having a stable job, and being a great father to the kids. If I had to choose, I rather him be the perfect dad to our kids than being the perfect husband for me. But one thing's for sure, I want the wedding proposal to be a surprise and the wedding to be held in a church.
As for kids, I don't really want an odd number. Strange, I know, but an even number will be easier to divide up and such so I want either two or four kids. And if I have an even number of kids, I want the boy-girl ratio to be the same too ahaha. Yeah, it's a big demand, but it's just my ideal. If I were to have two kids, I want to the son first, then the daughter. If I were to have four kids, I don't really care about the order. However, if I have four kids, I want two kids of my own and adopt two. I want the two that I adopt to be siblings. I guess I'll have to find a husband who'll be fine with that too. ahaha
I haven't really thought about a house though. Lisa had an ideal but I don't really have one. It's something I guess I'll think about later on in life, when I actually do get married and have kids and whatnot. All I could really want right now is for it to be spacious, but not too big (I dislike cleaning). If I have two kids, they should have separate rooms. If I have four, the girls will share and the boys will share. Oh! And my dream house does have a fireplace! ahaha If I could, I would want to live near my friends so I can safely send off my kids to sleepovers and such, since my friends and I are planning on making our kids become friends lol. As for the car, when I'm unmarried/single, I want a red convertible xD When I'm married..ehhhhh whateverr
Ahaha and as for the future arranged marriages of my children, Lisa's daughter is officially marrying my son. And I will convince Michelle Liu to adopt a really hot boy to marry my daughter. We promised we would have awesomely beautiful and intelligent, super-model grandchildren! ahaha But if I have four kids, I have a daughter and son left to give away...I'll see how my other friends' kids turn out xD!!
